About Us

The Galt District Chamber of Commerce is a group of businesses and individuals collaborating to improve the economic environment and quality of life in our community. We provide business referrals, advertising, and networking opportunities for our members. Additionally, we serve as a voice for businesses at various levels of government. Being an active and essential part of the community, chamber membership offers businesses a way to engage and support the local community.

Visitor / Information Center

Located at 400 4th Street, STE 130, the Galt District Chamber of Commerce serves as the Visitors Center for the city of Galt. We provide information to visitors about lodging, dining, amenities, recreation and points of interest in Galt and the surrounding areas. We also serve as a resource for relocation materials for people interested in moving to Galt.

Events

The Chamber is proud to host several local events throughout the year that help bring our community together. Events such as the Wine, Beer & Food Tasting event, Miracle on 4th Street, and The Old Galt Festival

Grand Openings and Ribbon Cuttings

Encouraging the success and growth of local businesses, as well as welcoming new businesses to our community, are key aspects of the chamber's support. The Chamber provides Ribbon Cuttings, Grand Opening Celebrations, and Chamber Business Mixers.

Networking

Lunch and Learns allow members to network and gain insights from guest speakers focusing on topics beneficial to local businesses. Regularly scheduled After-Hours Mixers offer another fantastic networking chance for guests to connect, and for hosts to showcase their businesses to potential clients/customers. Don't miss our monthly coffee and commerce event, held in the morning at the Chamber office. This event allows members to engage with staff, board members, and connect with other Chamber affiliates.

Publications

In addition to the annual Community Resource and Business Guide, the Chamber produces industry specific informational cards distributed at special events held throughout the city. Every Chamber member also receives a business listing on the Chamber website.

Joining the Chamber of Commerce is a great way to gain new business prospects, be an active part of your community and learn about new ways to advertise your business. You can attract more local business and have resources available as a part of the Chamber of Commerce.
